About CLAMP

X is the brainchild of the four-woman manga group CLAMP, who are responsible for creating some of the best (IMO) shoujo manga of recent years, including Tokyo Babylon, Cardcaptor Sakura and Magic Rayearth. Recently, they've also dabbled in shounen with the very popular Chobits, and the new series XXXholic and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. Despite its violence, X is very much a shoujo series, with strong BL subtext, as is CLAMP's trademark.

• Ageha Ohkawa (formerly Nanase Ohkawa): story and script.
• Mokona (formerly Apapa Mokona): comic and cover illustrations (presumably the color pics in Asuka as well).
• Nekoi Tsubaki (formerly Nekoi Mick): art direction.
• Igarashi Satsuki: art assitant.
